Memorable Experiences
Patriotic Ceremonies
At Cub Scout Resident Camp, Cubs will participate in morning and evening flag ceremonies. Proper flag etiquette will be taught and Packs will have the opportunity to have their own Cubs conduct the ceremonies.
Advancement
While the focus of Cub Resident Camp is not primarily on advancement, Cubs will be engaged in instructional programs throughout the day will allow them to earn requirements for various awards. Throughout the session, Cubs and leaders will learn more about the new rollout of Cub Advanecement and programming changes.
Programs Galore!
Camp Horne is not only a beautiful camp but it offers so many program resources that are difficult for Packs to develop on their own. Cubs will have the opportunity to shoot arrows, fire bb guns, swim in the olympic-sized swimming pool, practice outdoor skills, participate in enthusiastic dining hall programs, and much more!
Campfires
One of the best parts of camping is getting to enjoy and particpate in campfires. At Cub Resident Camp, there will be an Opening Campfire on Sunday evening centering on Scouting and our 100th Anniversary. Then, on Tuesday evening, a Closing campfire filled with awards, songs, skits, fellowship, and just a whole lot of fun!
