
Event Chair Resources
The purpose of this page is to provide resources needed by volunteers who lead or serve on the staff for a District or Council event. Resources include guidelines and policies from National Council and the Black Warrior Council. The page will be updated as updates are made or as suggestions are received as what is most helpful to have at easy access for event chairs.
Important Definitions:
Event - a district or council activity that does NOT include an overnight experience
Short-Term Camp - a district or council activity where there is an overnight component of at least one but no more than three nights (number of days does not matter)
Long-Term Camp - a district or council event where there is an overnight experience of four or more nights (number of days does not matter)

You do not have to obtain additional copies from them. If a person is recruited to run an area who is not on one of these lists, he/she will have to submit a copy of their certification with the expiration date clearly indicated. **
