Summer Camp at Camp Horne is a week long experience where Scouts are able to enjoy many outdoor activties that they may not have access to at other times of the year. It is a great place to learn basic outdoor skills, earn merit badges, make new firends, engage in friendly competition between troops, and just have a great time! Troop leaders bring their Scouts to camp under your own leadership but are supported by a well trained, enthusiastic, and experienced camp staff who provide instruction and programming opportunities for Scouts.

Camp Horne is a 488 acre facility complete with six campsites, dining hall, swimming pool, two lakes, handicraft area, shooting complex (with .22 rifles, shotguns, and bows and arrows), climbing tower, trading post, ecology area, campfire rings, and much more. Campsites have adirondacks (that house up to 4 scouts each), pavilion areas, and an outdoor shower/bathroom latrine. Meals are prepared by a professional cook and served in the dining hall. Camp Horne is nationally accreditted by the a team of experts who visit the camp on an annual basis to review all facilities, staffing, and programs offered. The emphasis is on safety first and then, FUN!
