Tuesday, November 29th is “Giving Tuesday” a national day of giving back. For one day we recognize the good works in our community through giving. Begin your holiday season with a meaningful gift to help build positive character in young people right here in our community.

Our youth today face many challenges on their path to becoming productive participating citizens. The Boy Scouts of America builds positive character in young people and helps them navigate the path to adulthood.

This year more than 3,000 youth in our area will have the opportunity to build positive character through Scouting programs in the Black Warrior Council, BSA. I would like to ask you to consider a gift this holiday season to support the development of these young people and to help expand Scouting programs in our community by donating to Scouting through the Black Warrior Council on “Giving Tuesday", November 29th.
